36th World Wide SketchCrawl Update

A day out sketching was inspiring and made me realize once again the need to keep sketching to get better.  It was an interesting experience to be out sketching at the same time as others across the world.  In viewing many of the posts from sketches done on Saturday, June 14, there are many different styles and approaches which are great to see.  And what fantastic places to sketch, ranging from Paris, London, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Boston - the images of all of those places and more are wonderful.

Here I am in the Square on Main Street near the fountain and the Saturday Farmers Market.
Check out the posts by all of the participants on the SketchCrawl website:
and I have posted my sketches to that website too: as a Newbie Crawler since this was my first time participating in the SketchCrawl events.

SKETCHING IN THE SQUARE ON SATURDAY, June 14!

Looking forward to seeing a group of sketchers (anyone is welcome) on Saturday sharing our work together as we sketch the sites around the Main Street architecture and the  beautiful Wisconsin River!  The Farmer's Market is in full swing and should also provide interesting views to sketch for the day (and provide good food for later)!

Please feel free to join us at 10:00 a.m. or at 1:00 p.m. starting out at the north side of the fountain in the square on Main Street downtown Stevens Point.
I will have a sign posted on my sketchbook - 36th WORLD WIDE SKETCHCRAWL. Be a part of a worldwide event!

Sketchers choose what and where they want to sketch. We will get together at the local coffee place (Coffee Studio on Main Street) to share our work at 4:00 p.m. later Saturday afternoon.
Post a note here if you are joining in or just show up on Saturday.
